The Prahran Cricket Club is one of the original 12 clubs that made up the inaugural season of the Victorian Cricket Association's 1st Grade District competition in season 1906/1907.

The Club originally started as the Hawksburn Cricket Club and this was the club's name in the 1906/1907 season beforre changing to Prahran for the 1907/1908 season.
